Rover Racers is a four player game that gives guests control of Mars Rovers as they speed across the surface of the Red Planet collecting research samples and avoiding hazardous terrain. Using a camera systems embedded in the cabinets, guests pilot their rover by moving their bodies side to side. The game is also ADA accessible, designed to allow guests in wheelchairs to enjoy the exact same experience.
The Rover Racers experience is located at Planet Play—a fun, new educational Solar system-themed play space—at the Kennedy Space Center's Visitors Complex. Planet Play hosted its grand opening on January 1st, 2021.
